Wake Up and Stand Up

The Coffee Party Movement is a new movement that has started recently.

COFFEE PARTY MISSION STATEMENT: The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.

It seems Americans need to hold our elected government officials accountable in their actions and votes. As Americans we need to stand up and make our government take notice of what the average working class American wants and needs, and not the pork barrel spending that has been going on to long.

We vote for each elected official and their role should be what is needed and wanted by the ones that voted for them, not their own agendas, corporations agendas or lobbyist agendas.

The working class are the ones that pay the taxes and pay their wages, we should demand to be heard, not ignored by Washington and our state government.

We have given bailouts to banks and corporations that was due to their own greed and poor management. CEO’s are getting severance pay, and when we are terminated from a job we don’t receive a severance pay so why should they. This makes absolutely no sense to me why as CEO’s they were earning a huge amount of money then demand severance pay, something is definitely wrong here.

Americans are out of work and hoping to find a job in these troubled times. Unemployment keeps running out and  the unemployed’s worried how they are going to have shelter, food and clothing for their families.

Stand up and take a stand and let all our voices be heard, if we don’t we will continually pacified with the way our government’s run without any accountability needed.
